"The impressive cast is spot on, and totally believable. ‘Jamie’s blogs’ (co-written by actress Ryan Bartley) is additional content which you won’t want to miss as we see Jamie develop from sidekick to active participant in the intrigue. |
"L.A. MACABRE is filled with solid performances from all areas. The actors delivered exceptional performances. Honestly, viewers will have no idea who is responsible for the crazy events happening in each episode. They can go with the obvious and assume cult activity has been revived, but the script leads us down another path where we can’t really trust every character. We’re given a reason not to trust them. "The first season follows a small group of web series creators as they develop and release their new series, L.A. Macabre. When a former cult member joins them, their show evolves from a documentary style, fact finding show about the dark history of Los Angeles, to a thrilling exposé focused on a disbanded cult, The New Family." - Daily Dead |
"This new web series, which is currently streaming on YouTube, follows three young filmmakers- Host Ryan Holbrook, Director Colin, and Documentary film maker in training Jamie- as they explore the sinister side of the City of Angels. So far in the series the gang has explored the aforementioned tragedies and released Episode One, this past Tuesday, entitled “Barrels in The Desert”, which now sends the group seeking a cult known as “The New Family”. This new episode sends the show in a different direction as the group digs into the inner workings of The New Family. |
